Coursework for DSA 4202 at KCA University, covering two problems:
- Classification: will a patient miss their appointment? Compared Logistic Regression and Linear SVC on a public medical-appointments dataset.
- Regression: how strong will a concrete mix be? Compared Ridge and Lasso, and used regularisation to show which ingredients matter.
The report covers data cleaning, feature engineering, model comparison and what the errors mean in practice.
